Try to not make a decision,
- When you are hungry
- When you are emotional
- When you do not have all the supporting information
- When your gut/intuition is against it
- When you are under the influence of liquor or any other intoxication
- When you are being emotionally manipulated
- When you aren’t thinking or considering the pros and cons
- When you are in a unnecessary state of hurry that is being created
- When you haven’t tried out something that is suspicious but are getting coerced
- When your heart is not in it
Sleep on it, get someone to consult, get your energy and consciousness levels up, gather supporting information, or just delay it until you would like to confront it. You can speed up your decision making by anticipating and preparing for situations, but there still be instances where you would have to take decisions with a clear mind and on the fly.
Choose the right time. A delayed decision is better than one that is going to result in regret!
